No, it's not a Robertson Hare anecdote (there's one for the teenagers!) it's an UNPUBLISHED Calamity James page intended for a Beano book a few years ago. I thought it looked OK but I must have done something wrong as it's remained unseen since I drew it. Who knows!

Or, more likely, they realised they'd already used the script in question for one of the pages in the 2000 Beano annual, which was almost identical to this one, only drawn by Tom Paterson.
Just out of interest, was there a companion page featuring James as a magician's assistant, a jockey, a bank teller, and an astronaut?
love the chimney being blown up.a great gag!!!! should of been published...wish you could draw James every week for The Beano unless Tom Paterson comes back:)
